Considering psychotherapy

Life is full of challenge and stress. Talking to a trustworthy professional can help. Together, we can highlight your goals and discover your internal motivation to work toward them. Reaching a clear understanding of your situation, we can plan a way forward, whether you want to find new perspective on the past, change behaviors in the present, or learn new skills that will serve you now and in the future.

Counseling can help you to:

  • Counter depression with strategies to lift mood and challenge negative thoughts
  • Soothe anxiety and calm anger with effective physical and mental techniques
  • Move through times of stress and transition with balance
  • Build steps toward recovery from past trauma and grief
  • Set the stage for a good night’s sleep free from insomnia or nightmares
  • Improve relationships with insight, empathy and skillful communication
